Price Lock Terms and Conditions
- Price Lock is a service offered by EaseMyTrip ("EaseMyTrip") on selected flight tickets to minimize the risk of fare fluctuations for a limited period.
- The User must be logged into their EaseMyTrip account to use the Price Lock option.
- Price Lock is available only on selected flights and fares through the EaseMyTrip website or mobile application.
- If a user opts for the Price Lock option for a flight they wish to book via the EaseMyTrip mobile application or website, the locked fare can be held for 4 hours to up to 2 days, depending on the available options. To complete the booking, the User must make full payment for the secured fare within the Price Lock period. If full payment is not made within the stipulated time, the Price Lock period expires, and the held fare is automatically released.
- Once the Price Lock is exercised or expired, it will be considered null and void, with no further value for exercise, redemption, or renewal. The Price Lock fee will not be refunded.
- The Price Lock fee is charged on a per-traveller basis. For multiple travellers, the fee must be paid individually for each passenger.
- The User must confirm and complete the booking through the My Booking section on the EaseMyTrip website or mobile application within the Price Lock period.
- The Price Lock fee is a one-time, non-refundable charge and will not be adjusted against the final ticket booking amount.
- Price Lock applies to all passengers in the booking and the selected Flights.
- Price Lock cannot be used together/combined with promotional fares, discounts, or special offers.
- Modifications to booking details (e.g., flights or passenger names) are not allowed during the active Price Lock period.
- Passenger names are not required when locking the fare but must be provided during the final booking.
- The reservation for the secured fare must be confirmed prior to the end of the hold period of the Price Lock. Neither the selected air ticket nor the number of Users can be modified in relation to the secured fare after the payment for the Price Lock. The names of all Users related to a given booking shall be provided during the final booking of the flight.
- In the event of flight cancellation by the airline or flight inventory being sold out before booking completion, EaseMyTrip will refund the Price Lock fee.
- EaseMyTrip will absorb fare increases up to a maximum of ₹4,000 per passenger during the Price Lock period.
- Price Lock guarantees the fare but does not guarantee seat availability, which is subject to inventory. This offer is only valid until seats last.
- Add-on services such as meals or baggage are not included in the locked price and must be purchased separately.
- The convenience fee charged by EaseMyTrip on flight tickets will be applied only at the time of final booking.
- Price Lock applies only to the specific flight and fare option selected at the time of activation and cannot be transferred to other fare options or flights.
- In the event of cancellation or date change, whether done directly with the airline or through EaseMyTrip, the refund will only include the amount paid by the User, excluding any amount absorbed by EaseMyTrip under the Price Lock.
- The service depends on flight schedules and inventory and is provided on a best-effort basis.
- If the flight schedule changes during the Price Lock period, the User can request a refund of the Price Lock fee.
Other terms and conditions:
- EaseMyTrip reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or restrict the Price Lock service at any time without prior notice.
- In cases of misuse, abuse, or suspected fraud, EaseMyTrip may cancel the booking, deny the service, or reject claims.
- EaseMyTrip’s liability under Price Lock is limited to ₹4,000 per passenger.
- EaseMyTrip is not liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the service.
- EaseMyTrip will not be held responsible for any losses caused by force majeure events or reasons beyond its reasonable control.
- All disputes related to Price Lock are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi.
- The User Agreement and Privacy Policy of EaseMyTrip will apply to this service.
- This document is free to use, adapt, or reproduce without any copyright restrictions.
- EaseMyTrip’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy will apply.
- EaseMyTrip reserves the right to add, modify, change, or withdraw these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- EaseMyTrip is the sole authority for the interpretation of these terms and conditions.
- EaseMyTrip will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from events beyond its control, including force majeure situations.
- In cases of misuse or abuse of the Price Lock service, EaseMyTrip reserves the right to deny the service or cancel the booking.
- EaseMyTrip’s liability under the Price Lock service is limited to ₹4,000 per traveller.
- EaseMyTrip will not be responsible for indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from this service.
- All disputes related to Price Lock will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.
- If fraudulent activity or misuse of Price Lock is suspected, EaseMyTrip may request documentation to verify the relationship between the person booking and the travellers. Non-compliance may result in booking cancellation, with any associated charges borne by the user.
- EaseMyTrip reserves the right to cancel any bookings or take legal action in cases of detected misuse or fraud.
